CPA Licensed Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing bookkeeping and accounting service delivery group, the full-time remote Accounting Project and Implementation Specialist will manage client project delivery, execute historical cleanups and new-client onboardings, and assist in process improvements using AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage and execute historical cleanup and new-client onboarding engagements to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Utilize AI tools and firm systems to enhance efficiency in cleanup, reconciliation, and review processes
• Document and maintain transparent communication throughout engagements, ensuring smooth transitions to the production team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparation under U.S. GAAP
• Proven experience in historical cleanup and new-client implementation projects
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements independently
• Comfort working within fixed-fee or budgeted scopes and tracking time against them
