CPA Licensed Assistant Controller
Job Summary
To support a growing B2B SaaS company, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will oversee the month-end and quarter-end close processes, manage and mentor the accounting team, and implement technology and process improvements for scalable financial solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process while liaising with external auditors
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, enhancing ownership of the close process
- Evaluate and strengthen department controls, systems, and procedures for scalability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced degree or CPA certification
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years at a public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and experience with ASC 606
- Familiarity with ERP solutions, particularly NetSuite
