CPA Licensed Assistant Controller
Job Summary
To support the scaling of financial operations, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage month-end and year-end close processes, oversee technical accounting and SEC reporting, and lead a remote accounting team while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX standards.
Key responsibilities
- Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close routines to ensure accurate financial statements and reconciliations
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and oversee SEC filing preparations
- Lead the upcoming ERP transition and identify automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and public company environments
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404 compliance, and internal controls
- Proven track record of managing and developing remote accounting professionals
