Job Summary
To enhance financial operations, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage month-end and year-end close processes, oversee technical accounting and SEC reporting, and lead a remote accounting team while driving system transformations.
Key responsibilities
- Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close routines to ensure accurate and GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and oversee SEC filings prepared by the Financial Reporting team
- Manage, mentor, and develop a fully remote accounting team, establishing performance goals for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and public company experience
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404 compliance, and internal controls design
- Experience with enterprise ERP implementations and corporate treasury operations highly preferred
