CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Finance team, the remote CPA Licensed Assistant Controller will manage accounting operations, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and lead month-end processes while mentoring junior accounting staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end processes, including consolidations, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Prepare and summarize financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal controls
• Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports while providing technical guidance and support for annual audits and tax filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in accounting
• CPA Designation or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
