CPA Licensed Business Unit Controller

Job Summary

Leading the financial oversight for North America's largest business unit, the full-time salaried CPA Licensed Business Unit Controller will manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while guiding a team of accounting professionals in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct revenue recognition, inventory control, general accounting, and compliance functions while collaborating with operations and FP&A
• Oversee the monthly accounting close process and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Provide strategic financial counsel to management and mentor finance staff while fostering continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required; MBA is a plus
• 8+ years of diverse financial experience with at least 3 years in a management role
• Proven ability to navigate complex financial environments and implement effective processes
• Experience with revenue recognition standards and intercompany transactions
