CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with government contracting regulations, the fully remote CPA Licensed Controller will direct financial close processes, oversee day-to-day accounting operations, and lead the accounting team while managing financial audits and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure FAR/CAS/DCAA-compliant financial operations and internal controls, including cost rate structures and submissions
• Lead GAAP-compliant financial reporting and manage the general ledger, AP/AR, and cost accounting
• Mentor the accounting team and coordinate with program and business development teams while overseeing ERP security and audit support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA Certification
• 9+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in government contracting
• Deep knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements
• Strong proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and GAAP accounting principles
