CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support the organization's financial health, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Controller will oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the development of accounting policies while managing a team and collaborating with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting functions
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license required
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
