CPA Licensed Controller
Job Summary
To strengthen and scale accounting operations, the fully remote CPA Licensed Controller will lead the financial close and reporting processes, oversee internal controls, and partner with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and accurate reporting
- Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across the organization
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while identifying and mitigating financial risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong revenue recognition expertise required
