CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Controller will oversee all accounting operations, manage financial reporting and compliance, and lead a high-performing team while driving strategic improvements and efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounting close processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop team structure and roles to meet the accounting needs of the organization while fostering a culture of innovation
• Oversee cash management functions and coordinate annual audit and tax preparation engagements

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years as a Controller
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification required; MBA is a plus
• Experience in public accounting with a Big 8 firm and in an eCommerce business environment preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to improve accounting processes and systems
