Job Summary
Seeking a CPA Licensed Financial Controller to manage global accounting and financial reporting for a private equity-backed SaaS life sciences business, this full-time remote role will oversee the monthly close process, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and drive continuous improvement in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation process across all entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Serve as the technical accounting authority, evaluating new products and monitoring accounting standards
- Build and lead a high-performing global accounting team while partnering with cross-functional leaders on financial implications of business decisions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA (or international equivalent) required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and experience in a SaaS or software business
- Proven experience managing a distributed team and strong ERP systems experience
