CPA Licensed Financial Reporting Director

Job Summary

Overseeing the financial reporting function, the full-time Associate Director of Financial Reporting will manage the preparation and analysis of monthly consolidated financial statements, coordinate audit activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements and variance analysis
• Coordinates annual audits and manages communication with external auditors to ensure audit readiness
• Provides direct supervision and guidance to Financial Reporting staff, supporting their development and performance management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of financial reporting experience in higher education or nonprofit settings
• Knowledge of GAAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Current CPA preferred
• Experience with financial reporting systems such as Hyperion, Banner ERP, or Oracle OAS is advantageous
