CPA Licensed Senior Financial Consultant

Job Summary

To support federal financial statement audits and compliance engagements, the full-time remote Senior Financial Consultant & Auditor will lead audit lifecycles, perform quality reviews of audit workpapers, and advise senior government officials on remediation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams for USACE Civil Works and Military Programs financial statement audits in compliance with auditing standards
• Evaluate internal controls and provide advisory services to senior government executives regarding risk management and compliance
• Supervise junior auditors and manage project workstreams for candidates qualifying at the Senior Manager/Manager level

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance
• Active CPA license or CISA certification, with a strong preference for candidates with CDFM or CGFM
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
• 6+ years of federal financial auditing experience for Senior Consultant level; 8-10+ years for Manager level
• Hands-on experience with federal financial statement audits and knowledge of relevant auditing standards and regulations
