CPA Licensed Tax Manager
Job Summary
Leading a multi-million dollar tax business, the full-time remote Tax Manager will ensure timely delivery of tax returns, develop Tax Savings Blueprints for clients, and coach a preparer team to identify planning opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tax returns within two weeks and reviews within three days
- Create a Tax Savings Blueprint for every eligible client
- Conduct year-end planning meetings with applicable clients before December 31
Required qualifications
- Active CPA or EA license with 6+ years in public accounting
- Experience in leading and developing a tax team
- Knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership tax; trust and North Carolina experience is a plus
- Ability to explain tax concepts to practice owners in plain English
- Strong focus on tax strategy and planning
