CPA Licensed VP of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the accounting organization for a rapidly growing technology company, the full-time CPA Licensed VP of Accounting will manage financial reporting, compliance, and controls while building a high-performing team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the strategy, structure, and priorities for the accounting organization as the company scales
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Design and maintain an internal control environment to achieve SOX readiness and manage external audit relationships

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• CPA license
• Experience in building and scaling accounting functions at high-growth technology or SaaS companies
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead external audits and present financial results to executives and boards
