Job Summary
Providing strategic financial advisory and engagement leadership, the full-time remote CPA Nonprofit Senior Manager will manage a portfolio of nonprofit clients, oversee outsourced accounting services, and ensure high-quality service delivery while contributing to practice growth.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic financial advisor to nonprofit clients, guiding financial strategy, sustainability planning, and operational decision-making
- Lead the development and analysis of organizational budgets, cash flow forecasting, and grant accounting compliance
- Oversee engagement teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to nonprofit organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in nonprofit accounting, financial reporting, grant compliance, and budgeting
- Experience managing client relationships and leading accounting teams
- Strong communication skills for conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
