CPA Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

As the lead Revenue Accountant for Recorded Music, this full-time remote position will manage the technical accounting and compliance for diverse revenue streams, drive automation initiatives, and provide training to the RTR team while ensuring adherence to ASC 606 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting, accrual modeling, and reconciliation for all Recorded Music revenue streams
• Architect and maintain ASC 606 recognition schedules and automated reporting processes
• Conduct variance analyses and serve as the primary revenue audit liaison for internal and external auditors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field required
• Active CPA license (or international equivalent) strongly preferred
• 10 to 15+ years of progressive accounting experience in Corporate Accounting or Big 4 Public Accounting
• Extensive specialization in high-volume revenue accounting or royalty accounting within the music or digital entertainment sectors
• Deep experience with enterprise ERPs, specifically SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA
