CPA Revenue Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Owning the entire Order to Cash cycle, the full-time remote CPA Revenue Accounting Manager will manage revenue accounting policies, oversee the monthly revenue close, and govern billing accuracy and collections processes.
Key responsibilities
- Author revenue accounting policies and ensure compliance with ASC 606
- Oversee the monthly revenue close, including recognition and deferred revenue rollforward
- Manage the revenue portion of external audits and implement automated billing-to-revenue reconciliations
Required qualifications
- Licensed CPA with experience in a high-growth startup environment
- Demonstrable experience with ASC 606 and usage-based revenue
- Proven ability to write clear technical memos and assess GAAP guidance
- Hands-on experience managing a monthly revenue close and external audits
- Comfortable acting as the technical authority in revenue accounting
