CPA Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a meticulous and analytically minded CPA Revenue Accounting & Controls Manager, this full-time remote position will drive financial accuracy, oversee vendor accountability, and eliminate revenue leakage while building robust internal controls and enhancing audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own the accuracy, completeness, and financial reporting of healthcare services revenue and accounts receivable, ensuring a reliable monthly close process
• Act as an independent auditor of outsourced revenue cycle management, tracking performance and ensuring resolution of contractual issues
• Investigate unbilled services and reimbursement bottlenecks, transforming complex billing data into actionable solutions to enhance cash conversion

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue and accounts receivable controls
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and healthcare reimbursement frameworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with NetSuite, Power BI, or SQL preferred
• Experience managing financial performance and SLA oversight for external vendors
• CPA certification preferred, along with a background in outpatient healthcare or physical therapy
