CPA Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing media and entertainment practice, the full-time temporary Senior Accountant will manage general ledger functions, oversee financial reporting, and lead month-end close processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variances
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar accounting leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience managing general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Proven ability to prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
