CPA Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Responsible for managing financial reporting and analysis, the part-time per diem CPA Senior Accountant will oversee internal financial management for the School of Medicine and Dentistry, prepare monthly profit and loss statements, and provide operational support for strategic projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, supporting revenue recovery initiatives
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and oversee reconciliations of operating accounts
- Provide analytical support for insurance claims and sponsored funding analysis, coordinating project efforts as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Five years of professional accounting experience required
- Master's degree or equivalent specialized experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Experience with fiscal administration and relevant UR systems preferred
