CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning core aspects of month-end close and multistate tax compliance, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare consolidated financial statements, and support revenue recognition under ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete month-end close tasks, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
• Support revenue recognition processes and manage customer invoicing and contract tracking
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and maintain fixed asset records

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or as a Senior Accountant in a SaaS or edtech environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 and deferred revenue recognition
• Hands-on experience with cloud ERP systems, ideally Certinia or NetSuite
• Proven ability to manage audits and prepare multistate tax filings
