Job Summary
Supporting the day-to-day accounting operations remotely, the Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating with various departments to facilitate monthly close activities and audits.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries for month-end and year-end close, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Review vendor invoices and process employee expense reports, while monitoring vendor payments for discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification or CPA candidate required
- 7-10 years of accounting-related experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry preferred
- Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred
