Job Summary
Supporting the day-to-day intercompany and consolidations accounting activities, the full-time Senior Accountant, Consolidations will manage month-end close processes, prepare journal entries, and collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly intercompany and consolidation journal entries and reconciliations by close milestone dates
- Collaborate with Treasury and Tax teams to clear intercompany imbalances and address audit requests
- Streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work during the month-end close
Required qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting and a CPA or Chartered Accountant
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in month-end close
- Experience with automation of accounting processes and advanced Excel for data analysis
- Proven ability to manage assigned close areas with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with US GAAP, particularly intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions
