Job Summary
To support a growing Finance team, the remote Senior Accountant will manage general ledger functions, execute month-end and year-end close processes, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice-to-pay and billing, while ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and maintain internal controls over assigned cycles
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Active CPA license required
- 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and corporate accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Demonstrated success in improving accounting processes and implementing controls
