CPA Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on CPA Senior Accounting Manager for a remote contract position, who will manage day-to-day general ledger activities, ensuring accurate month-end close processes and resolving accounting discrepancies while collaborating with the accounting leadership team on ERP implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes for cash, expenses, and accruals in NetSuite, ensuring timely and accurate entries
• Prepare and review reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts, utilizing flux analysis to identify and resolve variances
• Oversee prepaid and accrual cycles, including maintaining amortization schedules and supporting documentation for audits

Required qualifications

• Active or inactive CPA with a bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting management experience with hands-on general ledger work
• Proficient in NetSuite within a month-end close environment
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets
• Ability to work Pacific Time hours, particularly during month-end close periods
