CPA Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Driving the transformation of accounting processes, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly close, manage financial statements, and enhance automation in a remote setting across the US and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial statements from close to delivery, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance
• Lead the post-implementation build-out of the ERP system, focusing on automation and integration with subledgers
• Prepare for financial statement audits and quality of earnings reviews, establishing documentation and control evidence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and leadership in a high-growth company
• An active CPA license (US) or CPA Canada designation
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, particularly in revenue recognition and accounting for customer funds
• Experience designing general ledgers for transaction-heavy platforms and optimizing cloud ERP systems
• Proven record of managing and developing high-performing teams with clear standards for ownership and review
