Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day accounting for a residential, commercial & industrial, and distributed energy solar and storage portfolio, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees portfolio accounting and general ledger activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepares and reviews portfolio-level financial statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy for consolidated reporting
- Analyzes and accounts for tax equity transactions and maintains HLBV methodology, building and reviewing quarterly models
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Active CPA credential required
- 8+ years in financial accounting or auditing, with at least 3+ years at the manager level or above
- Deep knowledge of renewable energy tax equity accounting and HLBV partnership structures
- Proven experience managing accounting staff and establishing accounting processes for new portfolios
