CPA Senior General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

To support the full accounting lifecycle for capitalized software, the full-time Senior General Ledger Accountant will manage Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, including capitalization tracking and journal entries
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain assigned balance sheet accounts in compliance with US GAAP
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to evaluate and implement AI-driven tools and automation solutions for accounting processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, with 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP with hands-on experience in accrual accounting and the full close cycle
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, along with advanced Excel skills
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and automation in accounting tasks
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy, with experience at a public accounting firm preferred
