CPA Senior Manager of Financial Reporting

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated professional, the full-time CPA Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will manage SEC reporting, provide technical accounting expertise, and oversee internal controls while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Steward the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory deadlines
• Serve as the subject matter expert on US GAAP, providing guidance on complex accounting areas and developing company-wide accounting policies
• Oversee and strengthen the SOX control environment related to financial reporting, partnering with internal and external auditors

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in SEC reporting and technical accounting at a public company or Big 4 firm
• CPA certification is required
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements with hands-on experience in complex accounting areas
• Proven track record of managing and developing a team of accounting professionals
• Strong experience with SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting
