CPA Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Analyzing customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606, the full-time remote CPA Senior Revenue Accountant will support period-end close activities, mentor staff revenue accountants, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process customer contracts for ASC 606 revenue implications, including revenue recognition analyses and revenue schedules
- Conduct analyses, review contract costs workbooks, and prepare ad-hoc analyses while undertaking process improvement projects
- Collaborate with the team on month-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and review ledger account reconciliations
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years of applicable experience in revenue accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification is required
- Experience with revenue recognition, particularly related to SaaS and knowledge of ASC 606
- Familiarity with reviewing customer contracts and proficiency in Excel
