CPA Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Focused on managing complex accounting activities related to loan accounting and securitizations, the full-time Senior Staff Accountant, Structured Finance will ensure accurate financial reporting, evaluate accounting standards, and support the development of internal controls while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities for securitizations and loan sales, ensuring accurate recording and financial reporting
• Analyze complex financial transactions and communicate implications to stakeholders
• Prepare and complete internal and external financial reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• CPA certification required
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience or 3 years of public accounting experience
• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically in loan accounting and loan sales
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
