Job Summary
Detail-driven and hands-on, the full-time Senior Staff Accountant will manage the integrity of financial records, execute core accounting processes, and ensure compliance with ASC 606 in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage revenue recognition configurations and processes within the NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module
- Prepare month-end journal entries, perform reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis for financial reporting
- Serve as a liaison for year-end financial statement audits, preparing necessary documentation and schedules for external auditors
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license required
- 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors
- Advanced, hands-on experience with NetSuite, specifically the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 as applied within life sciences or service-contract frameworks
- Experience supporting or managing year-end financial statement audits with an independent audit firm
