CPA Senior Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI, the full-time Senior Technical Accounting Manager will navigate complex transactions, implement new accounting standards, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft high-quality accounting memos and analyses to support management's conclusions and external auditor concurrence
• Evaluate and operationalize accounting for complex, non-routine transactions, providing strategic guidance to business partners
• Lead the accounting and valuation of M&A transactions, partnering with third-party specialists on purchase price allocations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and an active CPA license
• 8+ years of progressive technical accounting experience under U.S. GAAP, including exposure to financing arrangements and business combinations
• Public company experience, including SEC reporting and SOX 404 internal controls
• Prior Big 4 audit or transaction advisory experience, or equivalent in-house technical accounting role at a high-growth technology company
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to build financial processes and internal controls in a fast-paced environment
