CPA SOC 1 Audit Lead

Job Summary

To support the Department of the Air Force's Identity, Credential, and Access Management Program, the remote SOC 1 Audit Lead will manage audit-readiness planning, serve as the primary interface with auditors, and oversee compliance and reporting for SOC 1 examinations in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit-readiness planning and manage the audit calendar for SOC 1 Type 1 and Type 2 examinations
• Serve as the accountable owner of the monthly SOC 1 Status Report, delivering it directly to the Program Manager and Contracting Officer
• Coordinate auditor walkthroughs and maintain the readiness dashboard covering control status and testing progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SOC 1/SSAE 18 audit readiness or IT audit, including direct service-organization audit experience
• Demonstrated experience with DoD/DoW Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) methodology
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent credential
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust determination
