Job Summary
Leading a team of Tax Managers and Associates, the full-time remote CPA Tax Director will oversee the preparation and review of complex private-foundation tax returns, provide training on intricate tax topics, and drive interdepartmental initiatives for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare complex tax returns and oversee quality assurance for team outputs
- Lead and develop Tax Managers and Associates, ensuring performance management and tax-season readiness
- Coordinate client relationships and collaborate with the Legal Department on tax policies and processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred; CPA required
- 10+ years of tax experience with leadership in multi-team environments
- Deep technical knowledge of private-foundation tax regulations and filings
- Proven ability to review complex returns and develop team members
- Strong process orientation with experience in building new processes and initiatives
