CPA Tax Supervisor
Job Summary
To support a growing tax practice, the full-time salaried Tax Supervisor will manage advanced accounting functions related to tax specifications, prepare engagement work papers and returns, and oversee lower-level staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare engagement work papers and tax returns for clients across various industries
- Research tax issues and recognize potential problems within engagements
- Provide timely performance feedback to lower-level associates and communicate project status to management
Required qualifications
- 3-4 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's in Tax preferred
- CPA License required
- Experience preparing engagement work papers and tax returns for Individual, S-Corp, and Partnership clients strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystems is a plus
