CPA Technical Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote CPA Technical Accounting Manager, this role will manage financial reporting, lead technical accounting matters, and support financial statement audits while establishing scalable accounting processes and internal controls.
Key responsibilities
- Own the preparation of financial reporting, including cash flow statements, for month-end and quarter-end
- Lead the resolution of technical accounting matters and serve as the primary contact for external auditors
- Monitor emerging accounting standards and apply AI tools to streamline technical accounting workflows
Required qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Active CPA license required
- 5+ years of experience in technical accounting or corporate controllership, preferably with Big 4 or national firm experience
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP, including revenue, leases, and stock-based compensation
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
