Job Summary
As Liftoff's technical accounting expert, the full-time remote CPA Technical Accounting Manager will manage the drafting and reviewing of technical memos, guide policy, and ensure accurate financial statement reflection for complex transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Research and document technical accounting positions related to revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, and more
- Drive the implementation of new accounting standards from research to operationalization and disclosure impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new contracts and billing structures while supporting audits with technical documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 6 years of experience
- CPA certification required
- Public accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 firms
- Expertise in US GAAP
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines effectively
