CPC Certified Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a growing coding team, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Coordinator will accurately evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic, review medical documentation, and assign appropriate codes while ensuring compliance with coding regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate Epic EMR to evaluate and resolve coding edits in various work queues
• Review medical record documentation and assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers
• Provide education and training for medical providers and coders within the department

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional fee coding experience, with at least three (3) years in the assigned specialty service line
• Required credential: CPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P)
• Experience with E/M coding specific to the assigned specialty service line
• Preferred experience using Epic and working with work queues
