CPC Certified Denials Analyst

Job Summary

To drive sustainable reductions in initial denials for maximum reimbursement, the full-time remote Senior Denials Prevention Analyst will perform revenue cycle denial analytics, conduct targeted account sampling, and lead cross-functional discussions while preparing concise reports and monitoring key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Perform revenue cycle denial analytics to trend issues and identify root causes
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional discussions to align solutions and document key takeaways
• Monitor denial prevention KPIs, initiative progress, and associated revenue impact

Required qualifications

• CPC - Certified Professional Coder or CRCR - Certified Revenue Cycle Representative required
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in denial prevention or related revenue cycle roles
• Two years of experience in denial prevention, denial recovery, or related roles within a healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of Epic Hospital and/or Professional Billing, including proficiency in Epic reporting
• High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required; Bachelor's degree preferred
