CPC Certified Multi-Specialty Auditor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the CPC Certified Multi-Specialty Auditor will audit medical records across various specialties, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards while maintaining production and quality metrics.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit medical records to validate clinical documentation and identify gaps while adhering to quality and production standards
• Research regulatory and specialty-specific guidelines to support documentation and coding accuracy
• Prepare detailed audit findings and recommendations to improve documentation practices and coding accuracy

Required qualifications:

• CPC certification required; RHIT or CPMA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience across multiple specialties
• Extensive knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS, and national coding guidelines
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
• Ability to manage entire projects with a detail-oriented and deadline-driven approach
