Job Summary

To enhance coding accuracy and training within a healthcare organization, the full-time remote CPC Certified Quality Auditor will conduct audits of medical coding, review results with management, and provide education on coding guidelines and documentation techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Review and audit professional coding and billing across multiple medical departments to ensure accuracy and identify process improvements
• Provide education on clinical documentation requirements and reimbursement regulations to enhance compliance and efficiency
• Analyze data to detect billing irregularities and prepare reports on findings and recommendations for accurate coding practices

Required qualifications

• CPC, AAPC Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in medical coding
• Associate's degree preferred
• At least 6 years of progressive coding experience in multiple specialties
• Minimum of 2 years of auditing experience
