CPC Certified Senior Auditor

Job Summary

Serving as a senior subject matter expert, the remote Senior Auditor, Revenue Optimization will provide operational leadership and technical support to auditors, conduct complex revenue optimization audits, and oversee quality assurance while ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Revenue Optimization Auditors by providing guidance on audit processes and addressing complex coding and billing questions
• Perform complex revenue optimization audits and evaluate records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, provide feedback, and communicate significant findings to management and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPC or CCS certification, plus CPMA, CANPC, or equivalent auditing certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding, auditing, or revenue cycle, with significant experience in auditing anesthesia services
• Advanced knowledge of anesthesia coding, billing, and documentation requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations
