CPC Licensed Coding Director

Job Summary

Providing coding oversight and educational standards, the full-time salaried CPC Licensed Coding Director will manage coding operations, ensure compliance, and oversee training initiatives remotely across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing education and accurate representation of professional coding and clinical documentation
• Direct coding activities to ensure compliance and accurate reimbursement for all services
• Evaluate coding processes and collaborate with leadership to implement corrective actions based on identified trends

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPC - Certified Professional Coder certification
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional coding, including management and training roles
• Expertise in ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, and E/M coding principles and guidelines
• Knowledge of payer reimbursement methodologies and compliance standards
