Job Summary
Overseeing the daily operations of professional coding services, the remote Manager-Physician Coding will ensure coding quality, compliance, and staff development while supporting organizational goals for accurate reimbursement.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor coding operations for productivity, accuracy, and compliance while addressing coding-related issues
- Audit completed charts, providing coaching and development opportunities to coding staff based on results
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance coding accuracy, address claim denials, and implement educational initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field (Preferred)
- CPC certification upon hire (Required)
- 5+ years of professional coding experience (Required)
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory coding role (Preferred)
- Experience supporting multi-specialty physician practices or medical groups (Preferred)
