CPhT Licensed Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote CPhT Licensed Prior Authorization Specialist will coordinate day-to-day operations, provide training and guidance to team members, and assist with prior authorization processes for patients in a specialty pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic and supportive team environment while driving accountability for key performance indicators
• Communicate effectively to assign daily tasks and guide team members in complex problem-solving scenarios
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and assist with prior authorization processes as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required based on state regulations
• 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience required
• Commitment to compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues
