CPhT Licensed Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing specialty pharmacy team, the full-time remote CPhT Licensed Prior Authorization Specialist will coordinate daily operations, assist providers and insurance companies with prior authorizations, and foster team success through training and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate a dynamic and supportive team environment while driving accountability for key performance indicators
• Serve as a trainer for new and existing Prior Authorization Specialists on core responsibilities and systems
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement and provide daily support for associates

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• National CPhT certification and/or registration/licensure required per state requirements
• 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience required
• Ability to participate in and support compliance program objectives
• Consistent cooperative and respectful interaction with other employees
