Joining a dedicated team in Fort Collins, Colorado, the full-time salaried CPU Cache Architect will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to optimize CPU and cache performance, develop performance simulators, and guide junior engineers in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize the performance of CPUs, caches, and interconnect
- Develop and enhance cycle-accurate performance simulators for cores, caches, and SoCs
- Guide and mentor junior engineers while fostering teamwork across disciplines
Required qualifications:
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in computer architecture with experience in architecting processors and caches
- Proficiency in C++ programming and scripting languages
- Familiarity with Digital RTL Design and Verilog HDL
- Experience in developing performance analysis tools and methodologies
