Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled CPU Cache Architect, the full-time position based in Fort Collins, Colorado, will focus on performance modeling, analysis, and microarchitecture development while collaborating with engineers to optimize CPU and cache performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to optimize the performance of CPUs, caches, and interconnect
- Develop and enhance cycle-accurate performance simulators for cores, caches, and SoCs
- Guide and mentor junior engineers while evaluating microarchitecture improvements through various analytical methods
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in computer architecture with industry experience in architecting processors and caches
- Proficiency in C++ programming and scripting languages
- Familiarity with Digital RTL Design and Verilog HDL
- Experience in collaborating effectively within diverse teams across disciplines
